Driving High Performance Through Coaching

£299.00

This interactive and practical event focusses on coaching as a way of managing people – a skill all modern-day managers can develop to drive high performance for themselves, their people and their organisation. Perhaps more importantly, this training content will enable managers to sustain high-performance.

Description

Aim

Improving employee performance through coaching is something that is not typically given the time and respect it is due. Despite this, the phrase ‘coaching for high performance’ has undoubtedly increased in use over the previous two decades. So, whereas the term coaching is widely known and familiar in management speak, it is not always common in practice. Our coaching for performance training materials enables organisations to plug this gap, developing the coaching skills of learners and allowing them to improve employee performance.

The training materials guide learners to understand how to create an environment that is appropriate for coaching, supporting them to be able to define what high performance means and hold people to account. Learners will understand how and when to balance coaching with directing, gaining in-depth knowledge and practice of the GROW coaching model.

The training session navigates the tricky and challenging conversations that frequently stall or inhibit people’s willingness to coach. Consequently, learners will develop strategies to overcome these, along with being able to apply feedback models that enable others to learn and grow.

Coaching is a crucial element of any people manager’s armoury, and this toolkit will provide participants with practical techniques to develop highly effective coaching skills. These skills can be used in everyday working life, to encourage people to maximise their potential, to be the very best version of themselves and to deliver sustainable high performance.
