What Is It? – Regular Feedback – Training Game

Regular feedback keeps us and those we lead on track and delivering successful performance outcomes. ‘What Is It?’ highlights the wildly different outcomes we can expect without the reassurance of regular guidance and direction.

What Is It? – Regular Feedback Objectives

What Is It? Regular Feedback Instructions

Explain to your group that they are going to play a game.

Ask a volunteer to sit with their back to the group, and give ‘Drawing 1’ to the volunteer.

Ask the volunteer to describe the picture to the group. The group will then attempt to recreate the picture from the descriptions provided. This can be done individually or as a group.

The group can’t ask any questions, and no party can provide feedback.

Repeat the exercise with another volunteer describing ‘Drawing 2’. This time the group can ask questions and to give feedback.
