Last Match Logical Thinking – Training Game

£10.00

Lateral thinking encourages us to find new or better ways of delivering things. The ‘Last Match’ training game is a simple method for encouraging learners to consider unique or indirect solutions to problems.

Description

Last Match Logical Thinking Objectives

The aim of this game is to challenge your learners to plan and think ahead, encouraging them to move away from ‘in the moment’ decision making. The ‘Last Match’ game also pushes them to think logically when trying to solve a problem.

Last Match Logical Thinking Instructions

Explain to your group that they are going to play a game that will challenge their logical thinking skills.

Arrange the matches in a 1-3-5-7 pattern. The game can be played with other arrangements, but this version works particularly well.

Spit your group of participants into two teams.

The aim of the game is to make your opponent pick up the last match. Each team must take it in turns to remove as many matches as they like, from any one row.
